Chris Moore grew up in Florida, where boats weren't just a hobby — they were a way of life. As a kid, he spent weekends alongside his father building boats from the ground up, learning the craft from the hull out. That hands-on upbringing gave him something no classroom could: an instinctive understanding of how marine engines are built, how they fail, and what separates a well-maintained powerplant from a liability waiting to happen.

That early passion turned into a professional career spanning over 15 years in the marine industry. Chris has worked on everything from small outboards to large inboard diesel systems, accumulating the kind of real-world experience that makes the difference between a surface-level inspection and a truly thorough survey.

Today, Chris holds factory certifications across outboards, inboard diesels, and marine generators. On the outboard side: Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Honda. For inboard and diesel systems: Cummins, MerCruiser, Volvo Penta, MAN, MTU, Detroit, and Caterpillar. He is also a Fischer Panda factory-trained technician and holds certifications in Onan, Kohler, and Northern Lights generators — a credential set that covers virtually every propulsion and power generation system found on recreational and commercial vessels in the Southeast.

Moore Marine Solutions operates as a fully independent firm. Chris has no financial relationships with brokers, dealers, or repair yards. When you hire him, his findings belong to you alone — and you get the straight story, every time.
